Canada has state of the art hockey academies, spring & summer hockey schools, 3on3 programs, major midget & junior programs, and rich hockey culture... this shouldn't even be close.

Canada also has more than 4 times the population of Switzerland....

The U.S.A dwarfs Canada's population. Why aren't they destroying the majority of their competition?

Thats because they don't have hockey culture. Their top sports ahead of hockey are soccer, football, and basketball. Maybe if you used your brain for one minute you'd figure that out *shrugs shoulders*

Canada: 650,000~
USA: 550,000~
Swiss: 27,500~

Canada has the hockey culture and best academies available. We should be steam rolling Switzerland.

The u.S has 550,000 registered players.......................those players come from places with a strong hockey culture. If they didn't, they wouldn't be playing hockey thats for sure.

They have rinks to beat the band, all the best programs you could find in Canada and a lot more money then Canada or anyone else plus the strongest domestic league in the world that is dedicated to making the U.S.A the strongest hockey nation on earth. No one else has all that, not even Canada.

They are on an even footing with Canada when it comes to hockey, no question about it. They don't have any more excuses then Canada.

By the way, I know we are terrible and all but we have won the last two best on best olympics both on the n.h.l and international ice size rink and we are the defending gold medalists here also.

When Switzerland does that.................................take all the shots you want at us.

Nope, you learn results first.

Thats what matters after all..................not populations. Best of luck on working on that new way of seeing things. It will all come into focus for you once you accept that reality.

Is this real life? Canada is not "average" at world junior hockey. Look at the stats, stop being a plug and kicking up a meaningless fight.
