The revelation that PLD and other players were very sick last game is not good.

I caught a sore throat an cough right around the Grey Cup.

Felt really tired the first week.

Then was coughing constantly the next two weeks before finally feeling healthy.

We've got 6 games in 9 days before Christmas.

We may have to gird ourselves for some poor performances if this flu bug spreads through the locker room.

It depends on what might cause us to lose.

Indifferent play, lousy defense, bad passes, mediocre goaltending, lack of effort -- yeah, then I will begin to worry.

If they lose because half the team spent the afternoon in the bathroom, then not so much.

Unleash Perfetti on the PP. He’s a wizard with that extra space. A must win game no matter what. If teams can beat us missing multiple top players then we should be able to do the same with the sickies.

Not all colds/flus are the same. I can recall going to play hockey several times when I was sick and being on the ice made me feel better. Maybe not afterward but in the moment I was able to get over it.

We just need good Helly and the right bounce to start the game.

Both Barron and Harkins skipped the morning skate and, according to someone in my lunch group, both Axel and Kuhlman are starting tonight. No disrespect to the latter two players, but doesn't that point to a certain level of desperation for the Jets?
