The Winnipeg Jets find themselves in Chicago to face the Blackhawks tonight at the United Center. The Jets are coming off of a 5-2 win against the St. Louis Blues last night and are 7-3 in their last ten games. The Blackhawks haven't played since Tuesday night, when they lost 3-0 to the New Jersey Devils and are currently 1-8-1 in their last ten games. Big Save Dave will start tonight, while the way Chicago has been playing, they could have the accountant back in their net, who stymied the Jets the last time he played...

Hope the Jets don't fall for the trap...

The BF is an accountant so I heard all about Foster over breakfast (?) this morning. As much as he and his buddies hate Binnington, Foster is adored and worshipped for his one game achievement.

Given our respective records, I expect the Jets to dispose of the Hawks quite easily. But then there's the Rittich factor. If he lays an egg like in his previous start, I'll have to endure a lot of "Foster was wayyyy better" tauntings.

If Stanley can stop being beaten wide, if Rittich can stop the puck more often, and if Bowness can find a replacement for Saku who brings the same impact, we should extend our win streak to 4.

Some puck luck and an early lead to help the Hawks to continue to feel like crap and to give medium Save Dave a chance to get some confidence back.

He really did put together some good starts after his awful first game of the season, but his last outing was stinky all around (and the team deserved to lose with him).

Is Toninato confirmed as the replacement? Are we going 7 D?
Let's keep Perfetti in the Calder conversation. The line shuffling made me think he had been benched at one point or was hurt but then I realized that Harkins had sat most of a period (no special teams, no regular shift).

Can the Jets score 5 again? If they do then we should win easily.
Is Saku looking at 6-8 weeks?

I would but two issues…

I still don’t have my own computer (small problem since October)

Because of the new windows or changes to HF Boards I no longer can post Images and GIFS as I used to. I’m literally not sure how to add the types of images that I used to.

I had to bail on my Halloween GDT in late October when the laptop died and recently realized I couldn’t even post a simple GIF.

I may need a tutorial “How to” to get back up to speed.

My condolences on the loss of your laptop. That's my worst nightmare.

I back up everything on a constant basis but having a laptop die on you is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.

And even when your latest keystroke is safely backed up, bringing a new laptop up to speed is a slow, torturous process.
