The PPs biggest strength is in it's multiple good shooters, yet they want to keep setting up for the perfect pass that everyone knows is coming when passing isn't their strong suit.

Exactly. They could also *GASP* set up on the other side for the one timer.

They have enough plays - point shot, one-wing one-timer, two-wing one-timer, crease jam play, crease jam play to slot shot. The issue is that they often fail to gain the line with organization, and they don't disguise their looks or offer the opposing PKers enough variety/deception to make it easier.

They need to at least generate chances on 90% of their PPs, sometimes it is a momentum killer. They have the players so this is totally on the coaches.

Weird hearing Miller speak like that and sound like a true leader compared to his demeanor on the ice sometimes lol

Maybe it's just me but it sometimes looks as if Hughes doesn't want to set up Boeser. As good a point man as he is, he telegraphs his plays by always sort of leaning to the right side and setting up Pettersson.

It's even more odd that when Miller is up at the point on the left side he WILL pass there.
