Gaudette is generating chances as well, he just needs a linemate who can finish. As sad as it sounds I actually think this team could use Baertschi just to have anybody aside from the top-6 with some playmaking instincts.

They should be playing Baer just to offset the condensed schedule, nevermind all the good reasons you listed here.
