Struck me that there were many Vegas fans in the arena last night

why? We are time zones removed
I don’t get it

Everyone likes shiny new things.

That was my first thought but then I thought that there can’t be that many bandwagon fans
but I have been wrong before

They certainly didn’t travel here to visit our casino.

The energy in this game from the players is so dead. The energy in the crowd is so dead. And the energy in here is so dead.

Absolute nothing game.

(Not blaming the crowd or the fans. The team is just a chore to watch and they don’t play with much heart.)

I was there and at about halfway in the first period I asked those seated around me if the games was being played at 3/4 speed. No engagement at all.

Then I loudly cheered a woman who won the TV timeout contest because someone had to do something.

Seemed like it got better as the game went on (shockingly as the team played better too) so I think we have to credit you and the woman who won the contest for getting the Crowd into it.

Has anyone been to a road game with many Jackets fans in the building ?

I’ve been to a few road games (mostly in Florida) and there were a couple dozen Jacket fans at best.

I’m assuming Nashville, Detroit and Pittsburgh are likely locations for many visiting fans

Not recently but the only away game I went to in Edmonton I think I saw maybe half a dozen CBJ jerseys. Back when I was repping an Anisimov jersey.

I remember one time the CBJ took a contingent of fans to a game in Nashville and they were very loud. I think we won on a late goal and I you could hear them being very loud. This was a long time ago though, like Ryan Johansen era I think
