For such a shitty start to the season and all the injuries, currently being in 3rd in the division at thanksgiving is amazing.

At least we are getting some depth scoring, of course when you play 15 or so games with only depth you better hope your getting some scoring.

A bunch of injuries and Stone only just scored his first goal and it was on an empty netter.

We did have that season 3 years ago with no Patches for a while because he was injured, no Stone until months later in the season when we traded for him, no Pietrangelo, no Martinez, no Whitecloud, Schmidt missed the first 20 games and the team missed him badly because the defense was terrible (we didn’t even have the 3 guys I just mentioned for a single game), Reilly Smith and the rest of the team was cursed with all the posts they were hitting, Stastny missed a bunch of games, Haula had a terrible knee injury, other guys missed a few games, Fleury was overworked and it’s no wonder Subban started 0-5.

That team still made the playoffs. Looking back on it and I’m surprised they didn’t do worse.
