Elias is back from missing a week+. I was hoping him and Brunner would play on a line together going into the season, so we'll see if he can jump start Brunner who's been invisible for awhile. Volchenkov went down last game, so it'll be interesting to see a lineup with four RH D.

Although the OP was a bit mean when he mentioned Merril, though.

The guy loses an edge, crashes into the wall face first, and ends up with a concussion(I think)....on his first ever shift in the big-leagues.


But aside from that, should be a fun game. Although I do believe the Devils have a better shot at winning tonight than they would have, had Quick not gotten hurt. With all due respect to Scrivens, he's no Jonathan Quick.
