I checked WebMD and as far as I can tell microfractures could be the complete reason the Sens lose at any point from game 4 onwards. Depending on wins or losses in the first four games the symptoms could range from Hammond rebounds to Karlsson giving up breakaways and could morph from a static resting state to full on Mark Stone's arm falls off.
