This is a very telling statistic. Any kind of decent goal tending and I think VGK could have this one.

Their schedule gets a little rougher ahead, however, with games against the Kings, Ducks, and Sharks before a potentially easier game with the Yotes..

Seems like toKnight could be a good spot for the VGKs.

Nucks coming off a big come-from-behind win over the Kings in LA, returning home to face that expansion team they think is finally done overachieving, using the 8-2 rump-buster applied by the Oilers as evidence.

Letdown for Vancouver? Hoping.

Then on the other side, hopefully a bounce back by the Knights (and Lagace). We know the Knights are not as bad as they looked in Edmonton, and Lagace, while not currently a Vezina candidate, has played decently at times. Hoping also for enough of a bounce from him to give us a chance.

Of course I could be wrong (a lot of hoping going on)...and usually am!

I really just want to see Theodore play well, keep moving around until we find the sweet spot.

I'm anxious to see Theodore hit his stride, especially now with Sbisa out. Pairing him with Engelland maybe will lend some stability to Theodore's game. I know one of his weaknesses is sometimes sacrificing defense for offense, jumping into the rush too often and quickly I guess.

Thinking Engelland could help in that regard. Of course, it likely will take some time.

Anxious to see how it goes tonight.

Tuch is ready for prime time. He has looked strong when given the chance and he deserves a spot on the team.

Theodore has yet to fully develop, however. He is the youngest player on the defense (22 years old) and his lack of experience shows at times.

If we score 5 or 6 goals we have a chance. Otherwise as usual, with these backup ,backup, even more backup goalies who are letting in an average of 4 goals per game we don't have a chance in hell. Hard to watch . The opposing teams finally caught on to how bad are goalies actually are and now just putting the puck any where on net ,not trying to pick openings. I'm happy Vegas can make all these young goalies dreams come true. Hope the families and friends are getting lots of pictures. Should allow their families into the dressing room for videos, make it a real experience for them.

I so complained about the east east coast starts, but I'd never really considered how much 7:00 starts stink for me when I'm not going to the game. Going to miss everything after 8:00 tonight.

Listened to Canucks pre-game show on radio.

Informative show, but they are so very confident. "It's winnable. Nice way for the Canucks to prepare for when they host the Blues this Saturday."
