This should be a very winnable game tomorrow night, Zach Werenski out for the year Laine is out Elvis Merzlikins is out 1-2 weeks Columbus has other players out Boqvist as well. If we play tomorrow night in Columbus like in San Jose we should eke out a potential 5 out of 8 points on the road trip.

I think what we saw yesterday is about as good as it's gonna get, but at the same time he played well enough to be on the top pair on a bunch of teams including this one at the moment.

They need to shut down Jenner and Johnny Hockey, and take advantage of the matchups on the lower lines.

The team also needs to realize they can only win by effort, even against bad teams with a struggling goalie.

To salvage this disaster of a road trip a win is 100% needed. 4 points in 5 games is pretty much Detroit's pace from last season. 4 points in 6 would spell doom for Detroit as most teams in playoff positions by christmas are locks for the postseason.

Ironically enough, the Jackets have points in 4 straight games. They had some "easy" games, with 2 wins against Philly, and 1 against Montreal (with an OTL to the Isles). We definitely should win, but they've played well over the last week or so.
