Habs and Panthers will pass the Bruins in the standings by next weekend if they don't get their act together. One measley point over the last three games.

If we keep the 3rd period spirit up until the next game we might beat Panthers. Halak was solid and please move Coyle to 3C.

Next weekend?
Yes. Bruins play Panthers on Tuesday, and both teams have an easier schedule than the Bruins do over the next week.

I also saw the Habs play last night and they looked ten times hungrier than the Bruins did tonight. Note that I also said IF the Bruins don't get their act together. There was no reason to lose today.

Is it just me or has the coaching been questionable as of late?

Dressing a guy and sitting him entire game is a wasted asset. So you have a point .The bench handling in extra time tonite was sketchy as well. That said he has them in a good spot coming off a Cup appearance so I trust him.Only early yet.

Sure all teams are hungry but lets not panic about Florida and Montreal yet

you are, by a fair bit, the most negative/pessimistic poster on the board. It's really quite an accomplishemnt

Are we ever going to find out why our goal was not allowed?

Or is it going to be covered up like the motives of the Vegas shooter and Epstein's alleged suicide?
Would be nice for the ref to take the time to explain the ruling like some refs do. From what I could tell the ref motioned no goal before the puck was put into the net. Maybe a dead in the head deal. Regardless, I think it would have been taken away if it had counted then Philly challenged for GI. The end result was likely the correct one, but it's stupid for the ref to not publicly explain it with his mic.
