We need to keep picks too because we need to re-stock the farm system and we have consistently traded picks away over the last few years. 1 pick in the top 2 rounds over the last 2 years is not a good recipe for success. Especially when picking 4th round or later for an entire draft..

Yeah I know was just trying to be a smart ass. Lack of draft picks really hurts in the long run when the roster is depleted of high-end skill

While I don't put all of this on him he certainly hasn't been spectacular. His save percentage is nothing to be proud of during this 7 game stretch he's started.
