At the end of the day, it’s still early enough even in the lockout shortened season for them to make the playoffs if they start playing with some heart and smarts.

Maybe, but we are really going to have start looking at games left against Ottawa as serious context. They’re one of the worst teams in the history of the league. 24-18 means the Canucks can play below 500 % against the rest of the competition just as long as they don’t lose to one of the worst teams ever assembled.

Hoping for more grow and development from our Hogger and Juolevi . Would be nice to see a great leadership game from BoHo

Great GDT GP...

As much as it galls me, this is probably going to be another loss..There is no evidence to suggest that they can beat the top teams in the North Division this season..They will more than likely have a stronger game, but in the end, one thing or another will let them down to concede yet another one.

The team needs a 3 day break from the schedule..IMO..They need to practice, and refocus..Playing every other night, after making the same errors, over and over, only compounds the problem.

I still think the team is better than their record..and as I said in another post, I've seen a lot of talentless Canuck teams (some good hard working ones as well)..but this isn't one of them.

I think they may very well get out of this funk, but by then ..they would be running out of games.

I am thinking we could see a WPG game, in this case where TOR takes the W for granted, and Canucks get some momentum early and build on it.

Heck, we even had a day's rest! Thanks NHL schedulers (you assholes)!

Like every Canucks game since 1972, here's hoping that every Canuck has the best game of their career.

Canucks hit the 15 game mark faster than anyone in the NHL.....and in a 56 game schedule that's officially one game past 'the quarter pole'. A few more losses and unfortunately the Canucks will be playing 'catch-up' for the rest of the season.

No matter how hard you try, you just can't see the Canucks winning either of these two games against the Leafs--tomorrow and Monday. So far at least, Ottawa and Vancouver look like they'll be the teams dusting off the golf clubs early. And at least Ottawa can fall back on the belief that they have a great young team....just need to find a goalie.

The Canucks are at the opposite pole. Until they can shed some truly awful contracts for veteran players, they have almost no hope of being competitive.

cmon loui eriksson cmon down for your first game. eitheer they win tmr in close fashion or the leafs absolutely destory them. benning gets fired on sunday or a couple hours after the game.

I don't think the Eriksson move necessarily means anything, they've been shuffling him and Bailey back and forth a few times this season.
