Why is everyone freaking out at Garrison who was checking his man while Bieksa stood there watching Hossa walk out?

I'm not blaming Garrison for the goal, but I can't remember one instance this year where I've felt justified in how much money the Canucks have given him. Doesn't pass the puck well, seems scrambly in his own end, no physicality, I just don't know what he brings.

For me, it's not just this play it's been 67% of his play this season.

He has been steady the past 3+ games. That goal had absolutely nothing to do with Garrison and everything to do with Bieksa.
