So are the people who blamed tuukka for the loss the other day when the bruins didn’t score a goal and said tuukka should have shut them out to force over time/ tuukka allowingthe first goal deflated the bruins, also going to blame halak for this game because he didn’t force overtime by allowing a goal?

Overall great effort by halak. Offense needs to wake up.

Bottom 9 just aren’t good enough. Mistake by Sweeney not getting a forward.

Halak is the reason this was close. You can’t bank on that every game

Thought after the first where they looked like they shouldn’t be in the same building they were ok.

Both goalies were really good. But the Bruins still don’t look for the easy, ugly goals around the net.

Way too many 1 and done attempts with zero screens in front. Tough to beat good goalies that way.

Not sure who sits and who gets called up. Kovar has 3 goals and 2 assists in 4 AHL games. He was on one of the best KHL lines and came over to play with the Isles. For whatever reason it went bad but he is going get a call I hope. Cehlarik, Cave, Hughes have all been good from what I read.

Is Brick even serious? This game could have got away from them? Like WTFF they're offense is beyond anemic. WHat did Halak have like 42 saves? They need help... FASTT

If it’s the same poll I’ve seen, Jack didn’t even get the most last-place votes, Steigerwald did (and rightly so, although Mike Haynes is close). There are easily 10 teams’ PBP guys who are objectively worse than Jack. He gets a lot of shit because when he’s bad, he’s horri-f***ing-ble, and that’s what people see (on Youtube).

When other teams’ fans are ”forced to watch the NESN feed”, their responses are usually positive or at least neutral to Jack.

When the Bruins were down 1-2 goals last season, I was still confident they would be able to get back into the game and even win. This year, not so much. Bad time for Heinen, DeBrusk, and Bjork, three forwards in the middle 6, to be having their sophomore slump.

Have to give some props to the Bs D tonight. Even though Halak was simply off the charts great, I thought that Lauzon and especially Carlo were excellent. Carlo was making life rough for Preds trying to camp out near the crease all night long. He played one hell of a game in his own zone. Offensively the team stunk by and large, but Heinen made a lot of very good passes to set people up, yet again. He has become quite the passer. With some players who can finish this team can beat teams like the Preds when they get great goaltending like tonight. The compete level was there, just no finish. Becoming a familiar theme against better competition.
