Who's the last 19 year old to make the team? The only one I can actively think of is Linden.

I'm pretty sure the Sedins were the last draft year +1 prospects to make the Canucks. They turned 20 during camp of that season.

Bourdon was the last 19 year old to get the 9 game look for the Canucks.

Sedin/Sedin/Vrbata
Higgins/Bonino/Hansen
Richardson/Vey/Kassian
Matthias/Horvat/Dorsett

Is my guess. Vey or Horvat maybe swapped but I see Richo most likely to move to wing - even then Bo at LW before Vey sees RW.

Yeah. That's pretty much what i'd expect to see. Likely with Vey/Horvat swapped.

Though if they see Kassian+Matthias as the pair rather than Kassian+Richardson, and have a lot of confidence in Bo's faceoff+defensive ability, something like this could be what we see...

Higgins-Bonino-Hansen
Matthias-Horvat-Kassian
Richardson-Vey-Dorsett

That's probably what i'd go with.

Damn we are only 8-4, so far. Not good enough, seeing as we are going to lose atleast 3 out of the 4 games in the upcoming trip.

Colorado, not a good track lately, or even "so far".
What can we expect of that?

Well, well, I know the answer - sit down.

"schincky" has reportedly struggled to adapt to the pace in the AHL. Give him some time down there.

Yeah is to bad i realy thought would stick up in the canucks this year and be a great second liner im woryed about his developement now and hope is can get back on track

Any word on the lineup?

My guess for the forwards would be:

Sedin-Sedin-Vrbata
Higgins-Bonino-Vey
Matthias-Richardson-Kassian
Hansen-Horvat-Dorsett

Defence if Bieksa is injured:

Edler-Tanev
Hamhuis-Stanton
Sbisa-Weber

I think Weber would likely play with Hamhuis over Stanton.

I think the Sedins are going to break through for a couple of goals. Daniel in particular really stood out in the game against Nashville. I don't think I've seen him play an assertive game like that since before the Keith hit. I think he may be finally coming around a bit from that.

That's silly. Horvat don't need no wingers on his line. You all realize the Canucks have never, I repeat, NEVER lost a game with Horvat in the line-up!

Nathan McKinnon with a hat trick all scored on the PP with assists from Landeskog... They both toss five-six shots on net and aren't on for any of the Canucks goals.

Edler and Hamhuis both put in 4-point nights, Edler with a hat trick of his own... All on the PP.

Final 4-3

(yes, these guys are all on my $$ fantasy team).

I don't need to see any points from Bo, I just want to see a Canucks prospect come in and not just tread water, make some sort of impact. Be it effort, competency in all 3 zones, don't go invisible. Just something that stands out, and I'll be a happy camper.

Yeah. He's actually driving the play and getting velocity on his shots. Feels good man.

Who's the last 19 year old to make the team? The only one I can actively think of is Linden.

For the curious, here's a list of every junior-eligible player to suit up for the Canucks since the 18 y/o draft started in 1979 :

Bo Horvat 14-15
Frank Corrado 12-13
Luc Bourdon 06-07
Ryan Kesler 03-04
Artem Chubarov 99-00
Mike Peca 93-94
Petr Nedved 90-91
Trevor Linden 88-89, 89-90
Rob Murphy 87-88, 88-89
Jim Sandlak 85-86
JJ Daigneault 84-85
Mike Stevens 84-85 (Scott's brother)
Cam Neely 83-84, 84-85
Taylor Hall 83-84 (ha!)
Michel Petit 82-83, 83-84
Tony Tanti 82-83
Stu Kulak 82-83
Moe Lemay 81-82
Andy Schliebener 81-82
Garth Butcher 81-82, 82-83
Rick Lanz 80-81
Brent Ashton 79-80

Some interesting names there. Anyone else remember when Rob Murphy was going to be our answer to Joel Otto?

Crazy how times have changed since 1990. Chubarov and Bourdon are the only two guys to make the team out of camp since Nedved, and Bourdon really had no business being anywhere near that team.
