This is the most frustrating 1-0 game to watch and we're winning.

Zetterberg and Datsyuk are not as good as they have been in recent years.

Defensively we are worse in a lot of respects, especially with Ericsson, Smith, and Kindl looking worse and worse each year.

Not to mention Tatar and Nyquist are playing well, but the role players on this team have been lackluster at best.

There are problems with the roster, and losing a HOF coach who helped mask those issues also hurts.

Pav was PPG last year and Z has been beast this year. You are exaggerating their drop off. The team is playing poorly as a team. There have been individual bursts and goaltending and that is the only reason we have any wins. Before this season started the talk was all about our depth at forward being awesome. With the additions they should be MUCH better than they have been.

There have been individual bursts and goaltending and that is the only reason we have any wins. Before this season started the talk was all about our depth at forward being awesome. With the additions they should be MUCH better than they have been.

Datsyuk also hasn't played a single game. If you are going to talk about how much of a difference he is, you have to acknowledge the difference his absence makes.

Not to mention for the last few games we have had to play Kindl and Smith way more than normal.
