What? He is one of the hardest workers on the ice.
those kaza players keep chasing the puck, come 3rd probably out ot gas. No system at all.
Hard to imagine any team beating Sweden right now.
This game they've played pretty well together, Henriksson however has been real sloppy.
I know he is usually commended for his effort. I've seen it in the SHL but whenever I've watched him play internationally lately, I've come away dissappointed. That being said, last year was completely different.
Out of the two, Raymond is the more outstanding player to me.
Raymond is a puck-mover with better speed, hands and playmaking ability. He is bound to be much more noticeable on the ice. Holtz is a sniper and is usually at the right place at the right moment. As a double-underager, I do not think we should expect much more at this point. Historically, very few players this young have been dominant at the world juniors.
Comparing Holtz playing with the U20 team vs U18 team (last spring, only one year underage), the difference is he that he was then capable to deke his opponents, control the puck much more and create more scoring chances. Next year at the world juniors, you should be able to see him doing the same stuff at U20 level.
I think Raymond is having a really good game. Hope he gets to put one behind the Kazak goalie
17 year old Lefreniere had 1 point in this tournament. Underages rarely dominates.
Terrible game for sweden, as predicted.
Karl Henriksson is so much better than Bäck.
Björnfot is having a way better game today. Norlinder and Ginning are weak though.
Aaand as soon as I said that he starts messing up.
I know it's Kazakstan but Söderström looks like Erik Karlsson out there.
Broberg is not having a great game
Musorov has 4 goals? Not bad as the whole rest of his team has 3 this tourney.
Bring on the slovaks..
so sloppy, unmotivated at all
Has Sandin stepped on the ice in the 3rd?
Kazakh goalie was good
It felt like monten was conserving the energy of some players by playing them less in the third period
Arizona scouting did a good job.
He is 3 months older than Holtz.
But I think Holtz has been good, considering his age.
Don't know about that. Most teams in this tournament are supposed to beat Kazakhstan pretty comfortably.
Not even concerned with that game. I dont think any team has this many NHL players and picks. Seems like half the team.
It always is, until we lose against USA, Finland or Canada. Or Russia. Or Slovakia. Or Switzerland.
Saw a few comments, was Broberg actually bad today?
He didn’t have his best game. Somewhat sloppy with the puck, tried fancy stuff too often. Hopefully he (and half the team) finds his game against the Slovaks.
