Yeah, we don't really hate the Oilers - feel sorry for them and their fanbase. That being said, I have no qualms admitting that in general Oilers HFers are pretty insufferable to talk to.

If Babs couldn't throw a brick wall for us behind our defense which apparently turns every second rate scrub into a Vezina caliber goalie, no chance he can do it against us either. Much more likely to see another high scoring shootout. Really hope that isn't the case though. I just want 60 minutes of dominating, suffocating play by the Yotes.

The team better come out with a fire under their ass after that ******** against L.A. You would think we would step up against teams like SJ and LA, but no. So I hardly "expect" a win today.

We saw that we let Calgary back in the game and that proved to be the effort level we played at in LA letting the Kings score 4 before we pushed back and then basically ran out of gas trying the comeback.

I'd hope Tipp has them ready to play a full 60 mins. It would also be nice to get this team back to where we're allowing 2 or fewer goals over a good stretch of games.

And this game would be a good place to start that trend. Really enjoying the early offense of Hanzal/Boeds and Vermette.

We really do need to go on another little run to keep up with the top teams as it seems that the West is going to be brutal and I believe it will require more pts than normal to be a playoff team.
