Engelland has held his own with Gazdic and maybe even more surprising was Clifford holding his own against Luke. It's been a good while since we've seen Gazdic really walk through someone, correct me if I'm wrong but that may not have happened since his shoulder surgery minus that one non fighter taking him on in preseason.

Was hoping they'd stick with 11 forwards and 7 defencemen, we've got all those horses up front and i think the extra ice time helped get the big boys rolling against mtl.

Flames are going to be so desperate and intense. But tired with 5 games in 7 nights.
Hopefully Talbot stands on his head and we get a couple of goals early. The longer the Flames stay in it, the more nervous I'll be.
