Gotta love Walzy's fire.. Gorg sits and makes excuses Walzy calls it like it is.. Getting real tired of Gorg..

It's one of those things where yes, we all understand you are getting paid by the team and FSN to broadcast the Wild. You're going to be biased and slant your coverage to focus on the positives. That's fine - hell, we get pissed when the coverage tries to be impartial.

What isn't okay is being patronizing. If something isn't working, discuss it. Not everything is doom and gloom (or even as crazy as we are venting following this game) yet there is no way the broadcasters on FSN and radio like Gorg should be making full excuses. Minnesota hockey fans are smart people - that's what we're told and if that's case act like it. Discuss what went right and went wrong and don't lie about what's going on. It can still be slanted towards the Wild (something Walz was doing) without making excuses.

Listening to Yeo talk about adversity, you have to remember that we've had no major injuries so far this season. What happens when we do.

Just did the GDT for Saturday's game against Nashville.

Put in about as much effort as the Wild did the last few games.

Very little.

Our entire forward group looks like grinders try to score goals, we have no rushes where someone gets off a clean shot.

Everything is jam it at the net and hope the goalie screws something up.

Ever since Yeo came our defense has been much better at breakouts though, too bad they all turn into 1 on 4's or 3 on 3's with heavy backchecking because everyone is so slow.

What the ****?

I just realized that I made a GDT on February 9th last year as well.

Crazy.

Just got back from the game, Seto and Heatley were by far the worst out there. And Stoner was a turnover machine

How the hell does Coyle not score on that backhand. Unbelievable, we can't catch a ****ing break. Ugh.

My take...

http://www.stateofhockeynews.com/2013-articles/february/wild-vs-nuckers.html

Koivu's post-game comments are kind of bizarre. Anyone want a better example of denial at work? Parise, honest. The Captain, sounds like a company man hiding the truth. No pressure on Yeo; he knows he's toast if this team doesn't make the post-season. Only 1 injury to a non-critical player. What adversity? State of Hockey is 100% correct on that. What happens when this team does actually have to deal with an injury. That 1st period was unforgivable and the sign of a team that is very complacent. Anyone really see Clutterbuck and Brodziak out there? Let the Wild know you've seen them because they've been looking around for them. Enjoy!
