Team was flat in the first half of the second and got pushed around. Missed Forbort obviously. They righted the ship in the final 8 mins of the second. I was very interested to see how this team would respond in the third under Monty with the chips against them. They certainly showed something in the third. Kept shooting themselves in the foot with undisciplined plays, but never let it get them down. The troops rallied and sent it to OT.

Then again in OT the chips were against them with the 4 on 3. The absolute stud Lindholm won the game for them. Marchy committed a bad play and made up for it with a goal. Hall made a dumb play and scored a key goal. Same with Lindholm. 3 guys all making amends with big goals.

Player of the game no doubt Lindholm. That was a monster performance. I won't be getting to sleep any time soon. I hate Pit almost as much as I hate the Habs. Beating them like this in OT is pretty damn sweet. Keep this thing rolling boys!
