I imagine if Hainsey doesn't improve we will see Zaitsev move up a pairing.

However that means the top pairing will need to increase its ES time on ice a **** ton as Gardiner's pairing played the most last year but quite a lot and Hainsey cant be playing that much.

This confuses me. Dermott played some of the most sheltered minutes in the league last year for like 37 games and now you want to put him with Rielly to face some of the toughest minutes in the NHL????

Sounds like a good way to ruin the development of a good young defender.
