If any team needs to reach the cap floor, Scott Gomez is available. I do not want to waive him, and get nothing, so I will move him for a 6th or 7th round pick, or low level prospect.

Your in luck because there are only 2 Rounds in the Draft. If someone is throwing you a draft pick for Gomez it would probably have to be a 2nd Rounder.

You can still trade 3rd/4th/5th/6th rd picks I think even if were not doing those rounds lol

In this same line of thinking, Tim Thomas is also available to help clubs reach the cap floor. Bruins would only look to get a 2nd rnd pick (since its only a 2 round draft) or lower level prospect.

:habs have received an offer for Scott Gomez! In return, we'd receive a boom or bust prospect. If no more offers are receives by later today, Gomez will be dealt for the current offer.

Remember, all it takes is a 2nd rounder or a lower level prospect.

These games don't always continue after the end of the playoffs..Activity goes down ALOT. Shouldn't we just start with the draft?

That's not a bad idea. The only thing is the draft order. We could just use the 2012 draft order?

Well then we basically have to skip this season

We could start with the 2013 draft, then the 2013 FA with the 2013 players and remaining 2012 players, then the 13-14 season follows this.

That works so basically it's what the plan was except we are skipping the 2012-2013 season
