Use CapGeek to find players salaries as well as NTCs and NMCs.
---------------------------------------------

Draft
The Draft will be a 2 round draft based on 2013 prospects
-----------------------------
Waivers

If you'd like to place a player on waivers, post in this thread along with the player's contract information.
To save time and avoid confusion and complications, waivers will be "first come, first serve". Whoever puts in a claim first will get the player.
If you claim a player and he puts you over the cap, it will be vetoed and the said player will be put back on the waiver wire.
Teams will have 12 hours to claim a player off the wire before he clears.
Once a player is placed on waivers, he cannot be taken out until he clears. Once he clears, you may send him through re-entry waivers if you wish, but keep in mind if someone puts in a claim you will have to pay half of the player's salary and cap hit.
Only 2 players can be placed on waivers

Trades

All trades MUST be sent to gaborikthebeast and Matty K
Any trade not sent in will be reversed.

Re-signings and signings

To re-sign a player on your team, PM the respective agents for your RFA's/UFA's,
Pending FA's can be found at CapGeekTry to re-sign in groups, it makes it easier for the agents.
Don't skimp out on an offer, if you make a terrible offer the player may not re-sign with you at all.
Not all players will re-sign, in fact, the majority will probably test free agency.
Any player not re-signed by 11:59 P.M. the day before free agency will enter free agency, and you will not have exclusive rights.
Just because you made the first, or highest, offer for a player during free agency does NOT mean he will sign with you. Many factors go into a player signing so nothing is a sure thing.
The League Can reverse any signing if it feels that it is outrageous

----------------------------------------
RFA

Each team gets 2 offersheets
The team that owns the player can match as much as it wants
RFA's are automatically qualified

---------------------------------

Other Rules

Inactivity will not be accepted. If you have just one post in the thread one day before the deadline, you will be fired.
You MUST keep your roster and Trading block Update
Posting in the thread doesn't neccesarily mean you will get the job you wanted. Post the team you want and the job you want and I will determine who gets the jobs.
If a player is out for the season due to injury, he can't be added to your roster and won't count against your cap. If he's injured but not expected to be out for the rest of the season, he's in play and still counts.
If you have any questions regarding the game or how it works, feel free to ask me.

We thank all the other teams for their time and their offers.
In the end it comes down to 3 teams.

The :coyotes

The :rangers

and The :bruins

This is a very tough decision for Alex, he wants to win and wants to make his pay day. These offers both benefited Alex, financially and mentally, He has thought and thought all day long. deciding were he want's to spend his future. He went all the way back to Russia to talk it over with his family. This is a very hard decision as the money ranges from 8.5 million to 9 million dollars. Alex has changed his mentally to not being just about money, but to be about winning.
On behalf of Alexander Semin, his decision will take him to the desert.
Mr. Semin will join the Phoenix Coyotes for the next 8 years, making 8.5 million a season.

Yet again we thank every other team for their offer, this has been a blast for me and i thank you for giving me the opportunity.

Mr Brad Marchand is unhappy in the direction the Bruins are going and has requested a trade. The Bruins will explore the options

Semin a Coyote!

alexsemin.jpg

After searching the market for five greuling days, both through trade and free agency, Phoenix Coyotes General Manager MacTruck was getting frustrated. He just couldn't find that final piece to complete his team. He was able to lock up former Devils center Travis Zajac, and veteran winger Steve Sullivan on the the first day of unrestricted free agency but he still felt something was missing. MacTruck felt his team lacked a star forward. A game-breaker that could put them over top and get them past the Western Conference Finals and into a battle for the coveted Stanley Cup Trophy.

After having a few trades fall through losing out on several big-name free agents, the Phoenix Coyotes FINALLY got their man. The club is pleased to announce that on Wednesday night, they have come to terms with free agent left wing Alexander Semin on an eight year contract, that will pay him $8.5 million per season and $68 million in total. The Coyotes paid a hefty price for Semin but in the end, GM MacTruck feels the deal is well worth it.

Also, center Kyle Turris is on his way back to the desert. The former Coyote signed an offer sheet with the club late last night and the Ottawa Senators have not matched, which means Turris is switching teams again, just 7 months after being shipped to Ottawa.

The :coyotes are very happy to add Turris and Semin to our lineup. This gives us fire power, speed, skill and scary depth. We feel we are now a bigger, stronger, and an all around better hockey club then the one that fell short in the Conference Finals in May.

Still debating trading away the Schenn brothers. They have got some good interest so far.

Keep in mind:

1. I can not take ANY salary. So it would have to be equal or lesser for me.
2. Looking for upgrade at center and downgrade at defense, or upgrade at defense, and downgrade at center, type deals.
3. Only interested in prospects if they are of the elite variety. No picks.

Nashville is pretty content with our roster. If this is it, I'm happy. The only deal I'm still open to is trading away Legwand and/or Gill for a cheaper (but still good) #3C and 3rd pairing D. KLLR (or another team that needs a center), interested in Legwand?

Pavel Kubina(1.5)/Mark Fayne(2.0)
Chris Tanev(1.25)

Cory Schnedier(4,0)
Corey Crawford(2.667)

Our lineup contains scoring on all four lines, it combines size and speed, all four lines can put up 30+ points a player. Our defense is up there with some of The best. We have a solid number one in Bieksa and about 5 number 3 defenders. Our goalie situation is a combo that can be kept together for years to come
