The Penguins went out and added some great players to an already strong roster. Up front, we added several good pieces to support the two best players in the world. On Crosby's wing, he will play with James Neal, coming off an 81 point season, as well as Alex Tanguay. Tanguay is coming off 49 points in 64 games last year, and 69 points the year previously. Playing with someone like Crosby, he should certainly be good enough for 70+ points. Our 2nd line features Malkin, as well as two excellent wingers in Kunitz and Umberger, who likewise will greatly benefit from playing with someone like Malkin. Our bottom 6 is very good, providing a good mixture of offense/toughness. Dupuis, coming off a 25 goal, 59 point season, Sutter, Downie, Cooke, Adams, and Glass. On defense, we already had a top 7-10 defensman in Kris Letang, and went out and brought in the likes of Jack Johnson, Ian White, and Jason Demers. In return, we only lost Paul Martin, who had a horrendous year, and Engelland. Safe to say our D should be way better than last years. In net, we replaced Fleury with one of the best goalies in the league, in Mikka Kiprusoff. The team in front of him is far far better than what has been playing in front of him for years, and we are confident he will maintain and exceed his high level of play.

Why Vote for :rangers

We have arguably the best top 6 forwards in the league, where all six members can score at least 30 goals each, and put up over 70 points each, as well as guys like Gaborik, Nash, and Marleau who can score 35-40 with ease

2. We have one of the best 1-2-3-4 centers in the league with Richards, Staal, Arnott, and Halpern

3. Although our bottom 6 isn't flashy, they get the job done. Our bottom 6 can play physical to wear you down, and can chip in offensively as well

4. We have one of the best top 4 defense in the league, where each pair has an offensive defenseman paired with a defensive shutdown defenseman. Ryan McDonagh and Michael Del Zotto are two of the best young blossoming defensemen ready to top their breakout years last year. The presence of two of the best shutdown defensemen in Staal and Gorges allows the two young guys to roam all over the ice

5. We have te reigning Vezina winner in Lundqvist!

6. Our goaltending tandem is among the best in the league. We have the best goalie in the NHL in Lundqvist and one of the best backups in Biron. Nuff said

7. We feel that we have one of te best, if not the best team in the league and we know we have the team it takes to go all the way to the top!

Skinner and Stepan need to become solid 2 way players thus, third line duty will help them polish their defensive game and help them become better overall players :)

Say what you will, but maybe I'd rather not put too much pressure on my youth by throwing them all into the NHL where they will compete against another level of competition. Confidence is an easy thing to lose, and break. What you call 'playing possum' some would call patience and development.

Making this your top 6

Taylor Pyatt - Mike Rupp - Jared Boll
Tim Brent - Cody Hodgson - Tim Wallace

Is quite simply a sandbagging move of Michael Sauer proportions.

Need I say more?

Not that big... I added Whitney whose still arguably a top pairing guy. And my D 1-6 now is much, much better than before.

Whitney is not even close to a top pairing guy. Hamhuis is your best D-man in my opinion.

Whitney has played in 53,35,81 and 48 games in the last 4 years and is obviously breaking down and his initial good showing in Edmonton collapsed last year.

No longer a top pairing guy and not even a top tier 2nd pairing guy on IR.

Ottawa and Minny look very balanced and good for the playoffs IMO.

Whitney will be just fine playing on a pair with Bieksa and playing with the best team he's been on since he's been traded from Pittsburgh.

He's not Edler. But he's still a good 2nd pairing offensive Dman.

Yes, this team sucks. Bad. Andrew Cogliano is arguably our best center. Which is why you should vote us #15 in the West :yo:

That defense and young emerging talent sure makes them a better team than Calgary.

You have a legit top 6 center in Johansson and both your 2nd and 3rd line contain only NHL players. I have like, 4 on my team (and all but one are 4th line plugs). Don't see how your team could possibly be worse.

Well since the NHL won't play again till 2015 your team will be very experienced by then.

when is the draft btw and how exactly do we vote?

Actually, I would not put Whitney and Bieksa together. Bieksa benefitted greatly from playing with someone like Hamhuis who covered his mistakes. I could see Whitney/Bieksa having a lot of breakdowns in their own end.

The Colorado Avalanche have put together a team that is garbage right now, with less than half of our starting roster having stepped foot in NHL ice. But we see a team destined for greatness in the future.

On the top line, we have the young but proven Gabriel Landskog and Matt Duchene with 2012 top prospect Teuvo Teravainen. On the second line, we have a proven 2C in Ryan O'Rielly and two promising youngsters in Tangradi and Etem. On the third line, three two-way forwards, Wingels proving it at NHL level, Philips and Wilson in junior. With the 4th line and healthy scratches, Stanley Cup champion Jordan Nolan, youngster Mark Olver, and some veterens.

On defense, one of the most talented young D-men in the NHL, Cam Fowler paired with a two-way defenseman selected 7th overall in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Mathew Dumba. On the second pair, Falk, a young NHL defensemen, paired with the veteran Ed Jovanovski to show the young guys the ropes. Another vet, Johnny Oduya mans the 3rd pair with great prospect Sami Vatanen.

In net, our starter, Semyon Varlamov is a young star in the NHL. Our backup, Josh Harding is relatively old for our team at 28 but will still be here for a while, as he is capable of being a starter himself. Our third goalie makes sex. Nuff said.

I'm not pumping my tires at all. I posted my roster and made claims about my team, like almost every other GM has. It's not my fault people commented on my roster. If they're commenting about my roster I'm gonna respond as I imagine you and all other posters would.

It's funny because I barely even pumped my own tires. Yeah saying best offense was probably pumping my tires but people have been saying that in the chatzy alot, while I haven't said anything about my team or pumped my own tires at all before posting that. The only other things I said were about Luongo and my bottom pairing Dmen.

Difference between you and other GMs:

Most GMs: My team is one of the best teams in the league and this is why, we have great (something) and great (something).

You: Our team is better then every other team in the league because we have the best first line AINEC.

You did the exact same thing last game where you pumped your tires hugely and whined when you lost. I like you most of the time since your a nice guy and a good GM but the way you pump your tires can be annoying to other GMs. Just tone it down a tad.

I said best offense AINEC (ok shouldn't have said AINEC) but then I just said I upgraded my bottom pairing D and said Luongo is still a good goalie. That doesn't sound like I said I have the best team AINEC.

And I never whined last game. I mean I was disappointed since I think I should've won that round but its just a game and I don't get worked up over it like you are currently.

And no, I am not getting worked up. I am proving a point.
