MN should have had multiple calls against them all game. They were hooking and holding so much to start the game.

Nah. NHL just needs to address it. Blatant penalties should be called... end of story. Both teams, but more so us, got away with blatant penalties. Why have rules if you don't enforce them in the name of game management?
