I don't think Shaw is in the doghouse. The team is just healthy and he's the odd man out. The rental the GM traded for is going to get the nod to play rather than be in the pressbox.

To me it's any of Dewar, Reaves, or Shaw could be the pressbox FWD and it wouldn't make much difference. The only difference is playstyle, not the quality of player. Not really much different than a choice between Addison or Goli if the PP isn't working.

In my eyes, I see way less to no more cheap runs or digs at Kaprizov since Reaves arrival. I think that's Reaves main reason being here. Not for his offensive firepower, I may be wrong, but that's how I see it.
