So what's this about?

The Wild, already without Mats Zuccarello (upper body), found out right before the pregame meeting that Greenway was out with what the team described as a non-COVID-19-related illness. Evason was more cryptic and seemed ticked off.

“Greenway was just not available to us tonight,” Evason said. “That’s all I’m saying.”

So what's this about?

Evason is cryptic, even when he's in a good mood. He was in a pissy mood tonight for the postgame presser. The response to the question after that Greenway question he went on a mini-rant.

I don't see anything other than him being frustrated about things that are out of his control. MAF takes a personal day, Greenway gets sick, 3 FWDs get injured and end up in the dressing room for parts of the 2nd, no puck luck, and on the 2nd night of a back-to-back with travel. Watching that postgame presser I was waiting for a cell phone to ring. Just to see if he would go into full Torts mode.
