Makes you wonder why there is more effort and hard work throughout the lineup now?Part of me wonders if it helps to not have half your top 4 be butter soft players.
Way to draw a penalty Rossi! Stupid T Freddy!
That defence is far less cringeworthy than lately.Goli walks, Merrill traded, Bogo re-signed:
Bacon-Broccoli
Middleton-Spurgeon
Hunt-Bogosian
If Spacek or Masters claim a spot, Bogo to the pressbox.
It's a Christmas Miracle!!Faceoffs.....55/45 for the Wild. Where did that come from?
So you're saying you want grit?Part of me wonders if it helps to not have half your top 4 be butter soft players.

Well there's been a whole lot sarcasm in my post. It's not hard to recognize it imo. No saltyness included. Why so salty? It’s christmas, let it go. They play a very important role on the team and right now it quite clearly works. Everybody has an important part to play right now, all four lines are stepping up to beat good teams, bad teams and teams on hot streaks. Now is not the time to be salty about perceived bad contracts.
The rookies can play this well because among other factors the veterans understand their role and the coaches give them the confidence to play like they do. Very few egos in that room apparently. A lot of things going in the right direction for this team right now.
Faber is a pretty gritty player. So you're saying you want grit?
Exactly, like O'Rourke is a gritty player. Hunt is fairly gritty. Rossi became better with added grit. Kaprizov has a ton of grit. It's just a tough word when the GM seems to emphasize it on players like Foligno, Maroon, etc.Grit is just fine matched with Speed and quick and correct decisions. But grit mixed with old and slow not so much.
