No thread here yet for this goalie prospect who is underrated even in the Bruins system.
6'2, very talented and athletic with a sharp mental game, and has the ability to make huge athletic saves at clutch times. He has an excellent attitude towards his own game and is a well-spoken kid.
Was a star goalie for the OHL Generals when he took over the crease in 2017-18 and has been great for the ECHL Icemen this season after some tough head injuries gave him a very shortened 2019-20 season. The injuries are the main concern with him. Today in his first game in the AHL this season after being called up he left a great impression as he excelled all game and looked right back into AHL form from and surrendered 1 goal on 28 shots for the W.
This may be a rather unpopular opinion, but I think he has better starter potential than Swayman and Vladar. Time will tell but one thing for sure we can say is that Boston will have little problems replacing Rask when his time is up.
