I think some time will try to sign him to a tryout agreement and he can cut his teeth in the ECHL. He will get a shot at the long journey to the NHL.

He may also choose the Canadian University route.

Searched for a thread on him yesterday and couldnt find one. I would be shocked if someone didn't give him a chance given his size (6'4') and stats, though I figure he will get signed to an entry level contract vs being drafted.

It sounds like he'll be heading to Adirondack of the ECHL so he can start the majority of games.

great stats in the AHL so far .. has anyone seen him play?

I checked up on him early in the season and he had 3 AHL starts. Up to 10 now and holding the best SV% of the 3. Starts are 13 Blackwood, 10 Wedgewood, 10 Appleby. Seems like he's trending up pretty well. I don't know much about Albany though so I could be wrong.

Edit: Mixed up Blackwood and Wedgewood. Currently Appleby is at 13 and Blackwood 16.
