From Regina and got my first real look at Fulcher this week. He's lanky goaltender that plays big but where his weakness could be defined is his rebound control. A lot of times this week he left out juicy rebounds that can't be accepted at the next level. All in all, I think the Red Wings have a keeper.

He should probably start the season in Toledo before jumping to Grand Rapids which isn't a mark against him, he's just not good enough to jump straight to the AHL. I liked what I saw from Fulcher at the Memorial Cup. He's a decent prospect that earned his ELC from the Wings. Liked how well and quickly he moved around the net especially for a guy his size. Does some weird stuff though such as overlapping with his posts consistently and when sliding laterally he's very static leading to almost no rebound control.
