This player has played really well in the WC and had a fantastic year in the KHL for Avangard in which he had a GAA under 2 and save percentage above .930 in both the regular season and the playoffs. He was touted as one of the countries better goalies as a junior but went undrafted ultimately. It seems he is still under contract in Avangard for next year but maybe his recent performances have made NHL teams take note.

Yeah I think they have no choice but to take note with those kind of numbers. Will be interesting to see how he does next season and if he gets any offers.
