good to see the Blues lock up Petro. he's a stud.

speaking of the Blues I would love to see Chris Stewart on the Bruins some day.

Depends on which Stewart we get, and even then....I think he'd probably disappoint alot of fans. He's similar to Horton, but different in the sense that he's slower, a bit more lazy(or alot more depending on which year you're talking about), but has much better hands.

Didn't someone here want the Bruins to sign Mason Raymond.

Leafs have agreed to terms with him $925,000 for one year. Not officially signed yet

I wouldn't have minded to see him in Boston.
I got to watch him a lot out here in the west, he has wheels and once had a 25 goal season. Not bad for a 3rd liner.

With all the young guys in Boston fighting for one spot it didn't make sense.

I agree with you. Not only do they have a slew of young talent fighting for a spot in the lineup - they made a statement that will echo down in Providence - the B's brass are willing to keep spots open for a youth movement to complement their core players. This is the sort of thing young draftees and prospects want to hear - they want to know they will be given a chance.
