Seems to be the case a lot of the time. It's really hard to find a good number 1 guy; so a lot of teams pick up backups from good teams thinking they're the answer. Goalies get nice statistics when they're sitting behind a good team.

Sometimes it works; Varlamov, Bishop or Bobrovsky. Sometimes you get yourself a Scrivens, and about a million other examples.

I can see why we would do it. If it happens though, I just hope the term and dollar are minimal. If we pay over 4 then I'll be angry as well.

I actually hope your right, I'd prefer not to spend cap today. Treliving compared Free Agency to going to the grocery store. He said the goal is to just go out and get the necessities, like some milk to top up what you already have. He said you get into trouble when you go to fill up 2 carts worth, that's when you start buying cookies and other junk
