Taking him on at $4.3m doesn't do anything cap wise for us. He could go to arbitration, but if the ruling is too high on that you can just walk.

Sounds like there's a lot of interest in him, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets 2.5M-3M×3 from somebody

Well depending on who you ask, there's quite a few better.

If they do want to keep him, perhaps they work out a 2 year contract that totals more than $4.3m.
