Now that the draft is over...onto free agency. Assuming Shaw gets a similar contract to Eller, we should have around 6-7m left over to make a splash during free agency.

Oh man, having Backes, Shaw and Gallagher on the same team would be a game changer. I think it would be an identity shift and we'd be a lot harder to play against. Same goes for if we signed Lucic.

I can't wait to see what MB does July 1st. There are some interesting options available.

Shaw better not be on our 2nd line, especially if andrighetto is on it. Not only is it small, but the production will be horrendous, easily one of the worst second lines in the NHL.
