He’s not terrible but I saw a couple pass attempts without pressure yesterday that missed their target by more than a couple feet. Players had to circle back, NJ got time to set up and we lost momentum for nothing or it ended up on NJ’s stick right away and the breakout was dead. That can’t happen on this level. If he can improve that he might stick on the bottom pairing but with Cernak coming back I don’t see that happening tbh.

Rutta is set as Hedman’s partner, Cernak as McDonagh’s, Serg will play no matter what and Bogo looked more than solid. And then there’s the Foote experiment and Sustr too.

He hasn't glaringly cost us goals like Foote yet (this season anyway). Other than that, kinda meh with the puck.

I thought he was much better than Foote, which admittedly isn't saying much.
