In championships and tournament games, any player assessed his second Game Misconduct Penalty shall be automatically suspended for his team´s next championship or tournament game.

I initially used the wrong acronym / code. It wasn't Match Penalty but a Major + Game Misconduct.

As a final thought: this game was officiated quite poorly (on both sides). On an international level I'd expected more. Apart from all the slashing going on, I've never seen a scene, where all players on the ice stop playing, because they expect an offside whistle, and then reengage surprised, after nothing happened. Surreal ...
