What is the argument for Fowler here? He has consistently been on good teams with the exception of this year and Gardiner has outproduced him each of the last 3 years by a good margin and has better advanced stats.

Well I mean, it's true?

According to Corsica (rip) Gardiner is the 15th best LD this year where as Fowler is the 28th.

According to EvolvingWild's GAR, Gardiner is overall the 9th best D, and Fowler is 141st this year.

According to EvolvingWild's GAR/60 Over the last 3 years (2000 minutes minimum), Gardiner ranks 13th, where as Fowler ranks 119th.
