I'll get the ball rolling with some general thoughts on why Miami should be the team that advances:

Team Defense: Miami littered with strong defensive players throughout the lineup. Really the only player 2 players who are not considered at least above average at their positions are Esposito and Larson- and Larson will be seeing very little ice time at even strength, and will be protected by Lowe when his is out there. Furthermore, Miami has 2 defensive pairings that could be first pairings (admittedly the second pairing would be a low-end first pairing).

Goaltending: The Screaming Eagles superior team defense is backed-up by the superior goalie in the series.
