Former WHL defenseman Cole Hamblin has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Mucoepidermoid Carcinoma.
Cole spent a short time with a few WHL teams (Spokane, Regina and a cup of coffee with Everett). I personally played hockey with the guy and always remember him as a good kid that loved the game. His friends and family have set up a donation page to help cover any unexpected costs and vacation time as they are spending time with him in the hospital 24 hours a day.
