And this reminds me, that last summer/fall, while virtually every other hockey-annual publishing company was busy bemoaning their ability to capitalize sufficiently on the supposedly dwindling fan interest in the face of the impending lockout, the Forecaster was the one annual that actually endeavored to contribute to continued fan interest by not only publishing their mag, but giving it away for free. Kudos to the folks at SF.

So is it available now, or in August?

It wouldn't make much sense to put it out now, because no one has an actual team. That, and it says August.

I agree, which is why I'll continue to support their publication in the future. Clearly, these guys are hockey fans first and foremost.

Even before their generousity (for both the 04-05 and 05-06 issues), I'd considered them to be the best hockey publication. I still look over their magazines from four years ago.

same with me Patty. I was actually reading the 02-03 one earlier today, just to see how the players have actually developed. Great magazine with lots of good predictions and sections. This is a great move for hockey fans.

The Forecaster is the best Hockey mag, this is great that they are giving away a free download again, but it really sucks that they're not selling a copy in the stores. I always go through all of my old Forecasters. It just doesn't feel right going through last year's copy that I had to print off
