Willman been working his game and it’s paid off. Could be a decent bottom 6 option eventually with more development.

Haven't paid much attention to the AHL so I won't comment on how he's looked, but I also wouldn't go by his scoring as a judge because he's got 6 goals and 2 assists while shooting 27.3% right now.

He does have a plus shot so I'd expect a higher than normal AHL shooting percentage. Still a long shot though.

These signings are fine. As would a Logan Day signing. The Prosser, Wotherspoon, Bigras, Pouliot, etc. signings (and committing to more than one year on top of it) with no upside while blocking prospect development time need to scaled back.

Day and Willman are replacements for Bigras, Pouliot, Wotherspoon as AHL foundation guys as the prospects come and go.
If they ever make it to the NHL it'll be a great story, but they make good change in the AHL and have the intangibles to set a good example for the younger players.
