The Philadelphia Flyers signed forward Jakub Voracek to an eight-year, $66 million contract extension on Thursday.
The deal holds an average annual value of $8.25 million.
Voracek, 25, scored 22 goals and added 59 assists for a team-high 81 points last season. He ranked second in the league in assists and fourth in points.
He was named a first-team All-Star last season and played in his first All-Star game.
Since being acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets after the 2011 season, Voracek has recorded 85 goals and 238 points in 290 games as a Flyer.
Across seven NHL seasons with the Blue Jackets and Flyers, the Czech Republiuc native has scored 124 goals and recorded 372 points in 531 games.
Voracek has not missed a game since the 2011-12 season.
He was the seventh overall selection in the 2007 NHL Draft.
