Probably gets an assistant coach position at Vegas, De Boer gets fired and then works his usual magic.

Shockingly inept coach yet Jukka Jalonen and many other European coaches are ignored by the NHL.

Another one gone.

How many head coach openings is that now?

Gotta be a few more added (Dallas) once the playoffs end (Dallas), I think.

Dallas.

Had some success as a minor league coach preaching puck possession and defense. Was promoted to a NHL club, where he did his level best to squelch and marginalize young talents such as Haula, Zucker and Nino.
Nice man with a dry sense of humor - check out his response to criticism from a rabbit Yeo was 'disappointed' to see Hoppy the rabbit holding a 'YEO MUST GO' sign | ProHockeyTalk | NBC Sports

PHI should be happy that Yeo secured them a very high draft pick. let's face it, the team wasn't going anywhere. Or did Fletcher trade it? He usually trades 2nds like he hates them, but maybe he has changed strats.

He traded a 2022 2nd with Ghost to Arizona, then traded a 2021 1st and a 2023 2nd to Buffalo to get Risto.

I think some of it is the different games with the ice size.

GMs want to confirm they could coach the AHL etc before getting a chance in the NHL.

That's my understanding and the AHL is a pay cut.

Moving away from him as head coach does not mean moving away from him entirely.

Fletcher probably is getting a position created somewhere with the Flyers for him.

Smart play by the Flyers. He's the right coach to get a high draft pick (kinda like Blashill), but next year you want to improve
