The Flyers are considering moving young centre Tim Connolly and a high draft pick for a #1B goaltender to spell Dominik Hasek. "We need to get Hasek some help," said the GM. "We're in the process of signing Pascal Leclaire but negotiations are taking a little longer than expected."
Connolly is now healthy after a major concussion two years ago. He played extremley well in Europe during the lockout and has been terrific in the preseason, but the Flyers are deep down the middle, which makes the talented Connolly expandable.
"If we're going to move Connolly we will want some quality in return."
