I've been on the ice with a few low end NHL guys that I remembered watching on tv. At the NHL level, they were NOT good. Out there, they may as well have been Gretzky or Lemieux. The skill level and skating it takes to be an NHL player is so ridiculous, it's hard to express or explain.

Last time I played NHL 24 with my nephew he asked WTF that blue patch was. I told him it's the "owner's" favorite part of the new jerseys.
